Trauma is universal. Each and every one of us, experience trauma at some point in our life—some more than others, but we all experience it. For many, trauma has been a significant part of their life. At The CARE Group, understanding trauma and its effect on one's physical, social, emotional, and mental health is key to the ongoing work with our children, adults, and community.

Trainer DeVault Clevenger, MA, LCSW, Senior Director for Clinical and Leadership Development of Pinnacle Family Services/Health Connect America, will cover:

  • Introduce one to the ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) study and the study’s findings

  • Find out what the leading healthcare crisis is

  • Learn about brain science and “flipping your lid”

  • Learn ways to help someone regulate themselves
